A crown is a cap that covers a single damaged tooth to protect and strengthen it. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by spanning the gap with artificial teeth. Both restorations are custom-made to match your natural teeth in color, size, and shape.
Most crown and bridge treatments require two visits about two weeks apart. During the first visit, we prepare your teeth and take digital impressions. You'll wear a temporary restoration while our lab crafts your final one. At the second visit, we'll place your new crown or bridge.
Care for crowns and bridges like natural teeth. Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, and visit us regularly for checkups. Avoid biting hard objects like ice or using your teeth as tools. For bridges, use a floss threader to clean underneath the artificial tooth.
